Q: How long has the practice been in business?
A: Suburban Orthopaedics has been in business for over 20 years.
Q: What hospitals is Suburban Orthopaedics affiliated with?
A: Suburban Orthopaedics' physicians are affiliated with Alexian Brothers Medical Center, St. Alexius Medical Center, Sherman Hospital and Central DuPage Hospital.
Q: What are Suburban Orthopaedics' hours of operation?
A: We see patients Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Monday and Thursday evening appointments are available. During the football season, we see patients on Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
Q: Where is Suburban Orthopaedics located?
A: Suburban Othopaedics has offices in Bartlett, Elk Grove, and Hoffman Estates. Click here for specific location details.
Q: Do I need to come in earlier than my appointment time?
A: Yes, please arrive 10 minutes early, if you have already pre-registered by downloading all the required forms, from our website - if not, please come in 15 minutes early.
Q: What should I bring to my appointment?
A: Please bring your insurance card(s), list of all medications, allergies and all pertinent medical information. Our physicians will also need to see any test results/x-rays, MRI, etc., to help assist them in providing you the best care. Your co-pay, if any, is due and will be collected upon checking-in.
Q: Will I receive an appointment confirmation call?
A: Yes, our staff will call you on the business day prior to your appointment.
Q: If I don't speak English, do I need to bring an interpreter?
A: We speak Spanish, Polish and Ukranian.
Business Office - FAQs
Q: Is my insurance accepted by Suburban Orthopaedics?
A: Suburban Orthopaedics accepts most insurance plans. However, please ask our scheduler when you make your appointment. We will also need a copy of your insurance card(s) when you arrive.
Q: What if I am covered by two different insurance plans?
A: We will submit claims to your primary insurance carrier, and, as a courtesy, we will also submit claims to your secondary carrier.
Q: What if I was in a motor vehicle accident? How does the insurance work?
A: We will send claims to your motor vehicle carrier. If those benefits exhaust, we will submit claims to your health carrier.
Q: What if I don't have insurance? Can I still come to Suburban Orthopaedics?
A: Yes. We require a $250.00 payment before your appointment, and the balance after the appointment if over.
Q: Do you accept credit and/or debit cards?
A: Yes, we accept Visa, Master Card and American Express.
Q: What if I was hurt at work?
A: We see many injured workers. If you were hurt while working, it is very important that you file a claim with your employer; and when you make your appointment with Suburban Orthopaedics, please have your Workers' Compensation information available.
