Anthony Bartkowiak D.C.PA-C
Anthony graduated from National College of Chiropractic in 1995 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. In 2001 he graduated from Malcolm X Cook County Physician Assistant Program and joined Dr. Howard Freedberg here at Suburban Orthopaedics. He is a strong supporter of our local High Schools and assists in providing medical coverage for the affiliated high schools during their football seasons. Anthony thrives on a Team Approach to care and incorporates the most advanced Minimally Invasive and Minimally Disruptive methods of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery. Working with Dr. Freedberg allows for him to continually expand his knowledge base that allows both to be on the cutting edge of science and technology. Anthony enjoys the daily challenge of patient clinical care and education of both conservative and surgical patient management.
In his spare time Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife Kim and three daughters.

Michael Sheehan, PA-C
Michael Sheehan has been a licensed and nationally certified Physician Assistant working in spine surgery at Suburban Orthopaedics with Dr. McNally since May of 2015. He grew up in the Chicagoland area and attended York Community High School in Elmhurst before attending Grand Valley State University, where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Health Professions in 2011 and his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2014. He currently holds a membership in the North American Spine Society.

Matthew Barnes has been a licensed and nationally certified Physician Assistant since 2008, and has been working with Suburban Orthopaedics since 2009. He grew up in the Chicagoland area, and attended Marquette University from 2003 to 2008. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Sciences in 2007, and then received his Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies in 2008. After passing his national certification examination, he originally worked in acute inpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation from 2008 to 2009.

Keith Welker has been a licensed and nationally certified Physician Assistant working in general/sports orthopedics at Suburban Orthopaedics with Dr. Chhadia since 2013. He grew up in Dayton Ohio and attended Kettering Fairmont High School before attending the University of Dayton, where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology in 2009. He worked at the Elmhurst hospital emergency room for one year before entering his Physician Assistant studies program at the University of Saint Francis in 2011. After completing his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2013 he moved to the Chicagoland area. He currently holds memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.
