Lisa Ayotte graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2008 with a Masters of Physical Therapy degree. Lisa has diverse work experience working with a variety of diagnoses that include: pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, cerebral vascular accidents, multiple sclerosis, as well as sports related injuries.
Lisa believes strongly in a “patient first” philosophy, advocating for each patient’s personal goals and providing individualized treatment to achieve maximal functional outcomes. She addresses the goals of her patients by integrating “real life” simulated activities during treatment, allowing patients to not only see their progress but also to return to work and other recreational activities safely and efficiently. Her treatment methodology emphasizes use of evidence based manual and therapeutic exercise techniques that are individually tailoring to efficiently and effectively return patients, athletes, and employees to their pre-injury status. Lisa is dedicated to providing personalized quality of care in a positive and friendly atmosphere; all while making treatment sessions fun and enjoyable.
Lisa is committed to continuing her education, both to progress herself as a physical therapist and to improve the functional outcomes and quality of life for her patients. Lisa is a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner (CKTP) and is eager to assist patients in their individual rehabilitation process, while helping them achieve their personalized goals.
