Dr. Shoueb Malik is a fellowship-trained, board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon specializing in sports medicine, trauma, and complex reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. With advanced training and a patient-focused philosophy, Dr. Malik is dedicated to restoring mobility, function, and quality of life for patients of all ages.
He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree with honors from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, followed by a rigorous surgical residency at Franciscan Health – where he served as chief resident. Dr. Malik then completed a prestigious foot and ankle surgical fellowship at OrthoIllinois, gaining advanced expertise in total ankle replacement, arthroscopic foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle trauma, and complex deformity correction.
Dr. Malik uses the latest evidence-based techniques to treat a wide range of conditions, including sports related injuries, ankle sprains/instability, foot and ankle fractures, diabetic limb salvage, Charcot reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, arthritis, flat feet and bunions. Whether managing an acute injury or a chronic condition, he is committed to helping you get back on your feet utilizing individualized care plans that support recovery and long-term performance.
In his free time, Dr. Malik enjoys playing basketball, weightlifting, traveling, and spending time with his wife, son and family.
