Each year Suburban Orthopaedics offers a $1,000 scholarship to seniors at Bartlett, Conant, Elk Grove, South Elgin, and Streamwood High Schools. The scholarship is given to a senior applicant who shows a strong desire to pursue a career in the medical field including pre-medicine, athletic training, nursing, X-ray technology/radiology, physician assistant, or medical technology at the college of their choice.
Aside from submitting their current academic standings as well as recommendations from teachers or school leaders. Students are asked to write an essay expressing how winning this scholarship will help to achieve their goal in the medical field. Listing education, professional, and personal goals while also explaining what has driven them to select a career in the medical field.
Suburban Orthopaedics is a diverse practice filled with multiple health related fields. We support the decision of students to make the long term commitment to helping others in a health related field and as a token of that support we offer the scholarship to support the students and communities that support our practice as well.
If you, or someone you know, would like to apply for this annual scholarship, please find the application here, e-mail our office at email@example.com, or call us at (630) 372-1100 for more information.
Best of luck to all applicants and to all graduation seniors in the Class of 2013!
