What is Coflex®?

Coflex is an interlaminar stabilization device that treats lumbar spinal stenosis. It is the only FDA-approved device offering non-fusion, motion preserving interlaminar stabilization. The coflex device is inserted after a microsurgical decompression and is for patients with moderate to severe leg pain caused by lumbar spinal stenosis who may or may not have back pain and experience difficulty walking distances.

The coflex device has been implanted more than 167,000 times in over 60 countries. This spinal stenosis surgery is minimally invasive and can be performed as an outpatient procedure.
