Sports injuries, whether traumatic or from overuse, can occur in athletes at any age. Our goals are to provide urgent access for our patients to get evaluated and treated in an efficient manner while avoiding cumbersome visits to the hospital emergency room. Many high school and college students have dreams of making it big in professional sports. One thing that can derail that dream is an injury that prevents complete mobility or reduces the effectiveness of a player’s abilities. Our Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Certified Specialists will focus on the steps needed to recover and return to sports in a safe manner. From simple sprains and strains, to concussions, to major ligament injuries, our highly rated physicians can provide a multitude of services including, but not limited to: brace fitting, physical therapy, diagnostic imaging, a timeline to return to play, and cutting edge reconstructive techniques.
The physicians at Suburban Orthopaedics are the Team Physicians for several of the local high schools. Working closely with the athletic training staff and coaches, we provide direct access and care for our community athletes to expedite the diagnosis and treatment process. Suburban Orthopaedics cares for athletes of any caliber, ranging from little league to high school varsity stars, and even our weekend sports warriors. We are proud to serve the areas of Bartlett, Elgin, Streamwood, Hanover Park, Elk Grove Village, and Hoffman Estates.
